THE FANGIRL REVOLUTION

We're in our liberation era, so we're making a jam-packed 6-part documentary series that spotlights the world of fandom and fangirls to prove that loving things loudly is an act of self-care and rebellion.

Directed and hosted by Becky Kuek, the series will feature deep chats with fans, experts and artists to unpack why young women feel such extreme love, discover the ways fandom shapes your identity, and learn how art, community and fangirls can change the world.

Funded by NZ On Air for TVNZ+ and Re News, we launch in Aotearoa in early 2025 and globally soon after.
